No-Fly Due to Adverse Weather

1) Policy Purpose
The safety of all attendees, staff, and our equipment is paramount. This policy outlines our procedures and guarantees in the event a drone light show cannot proceed due to unsafe weather conditions.
This page explains our standard weather policy. The terms that will apply to your specific event are those detailed in your signed service contract. We will explicitly notify you of any such differences before signing.
Any reference to "Beacon Displays," "we," "us," or "our" within this policy or any communication pertains to the operations of Dent Aeronautics Ltd.
2) Decision Authority
The final operational decision to fly is made solely by the qualified pilot-in-command on the event day. This decision is based on real-time weather assessments and strict compliance with UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations.
3) No-Fly Weather Conditions
A show will be postponed or cancelled if the pilot determines that any of the following unsafe conditions exist or are imminent:

Sustained wind speeds exceeding 25 mph (40 km/h).

Heavy precipitation (e.g., persistent heavy rain, sleet, or hail).

Thunderstorms or lightning activity within a 10-mile radius.

Poor visibility (e.g., dense fog, low cloud ceiling) that compromises safe operation and visual line of sight.
4) Proactive Monitoring & Communication
We actively monitor reliable weather forecasts for your event location beginning 72 hours in advance. If adverse weather is predicted, we will proactively contact you to discuss the situation and potential next steps.
5) Our Weather Cancellation Guarantee
If Beacon Displays cancels the show due to unsafe weather conditions as defined above, we offer the following guarantee in this order of preference:

Priority Rescheduling: We will work with you to reschedule the show for the next mutually agreeable date, transferring all monies paid to the new event date at no additional cost.

Full Refund: If rescheduling is not possible or mutually agreeable, you are entitled to a full refund of all monies paid to us for that cancelled event.
